3/4 Oz. Tonic Maison
A tonic syrup from Canadian producer 3/4 Oz. Tonic Maison, made with water, cane sugar, cinchona bark, citric acid, lemongrass, orange zest and spices. The quinine comes from cinchona bark, and the bark's natural pigmentation gives the syrup its amber colour. The producer states it is less sweet than commercial tonic water, with a pronounced bitterness, and suggests mixing 3/4 oz of syrup with 1 1/4 oz of gin and 2 to 3 oz of sparkling water over ice; refrigerate after opening.
