Named for the Hakuto pear, and it drinks that way: soft white pear and melon over a firm juniper spine, with a clean grain sweetness underneath. At 47% it arrives warm and slightly oily, the fruit turning to citrus peel and a dry, faintly peppery finish. Restrained rather than loud.
