A UK tonic water made by blending essential oils from herbs gathered around the Mediterranean shores with quinine from Cinchona ledgeriana trees, known locally as fever trees, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Fever-Tree describes it as delicate and floral, with a hint of rosemary and lemon thyme, and gives Provence, France as the source of its lemon thyme. Ingredients are carbonated spring water, sugar, citric acid and natural flavourings including quinine; a Refreshingly Light version uses fructose in place of sugar.
