Classic dry
No botanical list to go on, so take it as the name suggests: a Dolomites gin, alpine in intent. Juniper leads, dry and resinous, with the pepper and warmth you'd expect at 45%. Clean through the middle, long and cool on the finish, with just enough weight to hold up to ice and mixers.

Cocktails
Martini
Cold, dry and close to neat spirit — the vermouth adds weight and a faint bitterness rather than much flavour of its own. The gin has nowhere to hide: juniper needs backbone here, and any softness in the botanicals shows up whole. Lemon oil sharpens the first sip and keeps it from going flat.
45% gives it the backbone to sit stirred and cold with only a whisper of vermouth, which is where a juniper-forward Dolomites gin shows best.
Negroni
Bitter first, then sweet: Campari's rind-and-root edge held up by the vermouth's dark, herbal sugar. The gin has to push through both, so juniper and a firm backbone read clearly where softer florals get buried. Stirred over ice, it drinks cold and slow, the orange peel lifting the bitterness.
Resinous alpine juniper and 45% push cleanly through Campari's rind, and the 24 Dolomite herbs give the bitter side a mountain-herbal echo rather than just sugar and quinine.
Gin & Tonic
Long, dry and bitter-edged, the tonic's quinine pulling against the gin's botanicals while the lime wedge sharpens both. Refreshing rather than contemplative. The gin has to hold its shape against all that dilution: juniper and citrus carry through, where delicate florals tend to vanish.
Its Lake Garda lemon and long, cool finish are exactly what survives a tall pour of tonic, with enough weight at 45% to keep its shape over plenty of ice.
