Juniper first, then the bitter edge the name promises: gentian-like root, dried peel, a dry spice finish. The pink comes through as cranberry-tart red fruit rather than sweetness, and at 40% it stays lean and clipped, more aperitif than dessert.

Cocktails
Pink Gin
Gin, cold and nearly neat, with bitters clinging to the glass rather than mixed through it. The aromatic spice sits on top — clove, cinnamon, a dry bitter edge — while the gin carries everything beneath. Nowhere to hide: juniper and weight have to hold the whole drink up.
The bottle is built around the bitters-and-gin idea, so it makes the drink it's named for without reaching for a dasher bottle.
White Negroni
Bitterness here is bright rather than heavy: gentian's clean, rooty bite against the honeyed weight of blanc vermouth, with grapefruit oil sharpening the top. The gin has to push back, so juniper and a firm spine keep it from turning syrupy, though a floral bottle finds room in the finish.
Its own gentian-like root and dried peel run straight into the gentian aperitif, doubling the drink's clean rooty bitterness while the cranberry-tart fruit keeps the blanc vermouth's honey from settling.
Gin & Tonic
Long, dry and bitter-edged, the tonic's quinine pulling against the gin's botanicals while the lime wedge sharpens both. Refreshing rather than contemplative. The gin has to hold its shape against all that dilution: juniper and citrus carry through, where delicate florals tend to vanish.
The bitter root meets quinine head-on and the lean, clipped 40% keeps the whole glass dry, with the tart red fruit reading as a built-in pink garnish against the lime.
